Elon Musk had a third child with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis earlier this year,Grant Preston according to reports.

The founder of Tesla, SpaceX and Neuralink and Zilis already have twins together and the two had another child together earlier this year, according to Bloomberg, who first reported the news Friday.

Neuralink and Tesla did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment.

Musk also confirmed the child with Page Six while denying it was a secret.

"As for ‘secretly fathered,’ that is also false,” he said to Page Six. “All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret.'”

Musk has been concerned with population decline and sees child bearing as the solution, Walter Isaacson wrote in the biography "Elon Musk."

Musk has fathered children with at least three different mothers, including Canadian singer Grimes.

The new child with Zilis brings the known total of children Musk has fathered to twelve.

Along with the twins and new addition he shares with Zilis, Musk has three children with Grimes and six children with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson. Musk and Wilson's first-born child passed away at 10-weeks old.
